BASKETBALL HALF-COURT FLOOR MURAL

This Basketball Court artwork was a collaboration with Project In The Paint, an exciting transformation of what was once an under-used outdoor public basketball court at Frank Whitmore Green, off Viaduct Road, in Chelmsford, Essex.

Inspired by the immediacy, energy and vibrancy of colourful paper cutouts, Molly’s design is striking in its setting. It pays tribute to the court’s organic, natural surroundings while acknowledging the sacred geometry of the basketball court.

The installation of this project was delivered by Gareth Roberts and an incredible team of volunteer and assistant painters. Crowdfunded and supported by a micro-grant from the Essex County Council Community Initiative Fund.
