FATFACE

BRISTOL I EXETER

Molly Hawkins collaborated with FatFace to create a unique artwork in celebration of Pride month. Inspired by the brand's slogan "MADE FOR LOVE," Molly designed a large-scale canvas art piece measuring 1.5m x 1.5m.

The vibrant artwork was crafted using Montana Gold Spray Paint on a hand-stretched artist canvas, resulting in a striking POP finish. The finished piece was prominently displayed in the window of the FatFace store in Exeter, where the public could enter a competition to win the original artwork by Molly.

As a queer artist, Molly was excited to work with such a renowned brand, allowing her to express her passion for Pride Month through this distinctive art piece.

Additionally, Molly enjoyed designing the festive window display for the FatFace store at Cribbs Causeway using Posca Pens. With her background in theatre, she was thrilled to take a more installation-based approach to this commission. The brief required creating natural forms with a festive atmosphere, incorporating snowflake motifs.
